Do I believe in Marriage?

The concept of marriage in this in age is obviously misconstrued and becoming more and more obsolete by the year. Duh, okay we all know that. But why is it so misconstrued? At what point in time did getting married and then getting a divorce become so common? Is it because people are so impatient and just want a simpler way out? Or is it because people don’t really know what it means to work at something for a lifetime? See, now that’s something I have a hard time believing, because you obviously work at yourself for a lifetime right? Exactly. To me, people just aren’t patient enough. You claim you believe in love and that moment where you’re standing at the altar, you’re willing to overcome every obstacle that’s thrown at you til death do you part. For some it could be the impatience. For others, it could be that the couple might have not been in sync with one another before they legally formed their union. Still, it’s so important to learn yourself first and then your  partner in order for your future to clearly work. Now at this point, I’m sure you’re thinking “what the hell does SHE know about marriage?!” well yea you’re right I don’t have personal experience but I DO however have experience in watching a marriage fall apart and that couple showed me what NOT to do. So yea I do believe in the concept of marriage because I know me, and I am strong and consistent about my commitments in life. What about you?
